George Mason University

安全返回校园

We know you’re eager to hear 梅森 plans to return to our campuses for the Fall 2020 semester. We’ve created this resource guide to help you plan your activities and underSTand changes brought to our university in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Mason will start the fall semester as scheduled on Monday, August 24, with a mix of in-person inSTruction and expanded online classes. 研究 will also continue under this hybrid model.

Female STudent works outdoors on Mason's Fairfax Campus. Masks are required in all public spaces.

Our campuses will be opening in a hybrid model on August 24, 2020. Certain health and safety changes, including the use of masks in public spaces, will be new requirements as we work together to STop the spread of illness.

我们的指导原则:

We pledge to support the health, safety, and well-being of the Mason community while fulfilling the university’s mission.

一个多步骤的过程:

梅森 安全返回校园 Plan 英文版(pdf) has been reviewed by the State Council of Higher 教育 and has been found to be compliant in containing the required components of the Higher 教育 Reopening Guidance 英文版(pdf), which was developed in consultation with the Virginia Department of Health.

We’re following a six-STep approach.

This plan is flexible, and will change as circumSTances warrant.

We’ll provide updates on this page, as each new STage begins, and as new information becomes available.
